Due to their low exotherm, they can be cast in larger volumes. They also offer excellent abrasion resistant properties.
The ebalta PU elastomers were specially developed for high requirements in mould making and for the production of elastic parts in small series. Applications for polyurethane elastomers in mould making are, for example, in the tyre and concrete industries.

ebalta polyurethane casting foams are usually used for moulding parts, as core material or for bases. The polyurethane foams are characterised by their very good surface structure and fluidity as well as their good heat resistance. Due to their low density, the casting foams can be used particularly well in applications where a low weight is required

For individual colouring of ebalta polyurethane and epoxy resins, colourful colour pastes are available which are matched to the ebalta resins.
The colour pastes are usually added to the resin or A-component.
